Any digital 3D data from laser scanning can be used to create a physical model through the use of rapid prototyping and CNC technology. This is accomplished either through subtraction (removing material from a solid block through the use of CNC milling) or addition (by building up a material in layers, such as in 3D printing and stereolithography).

Our 3D laser scanning expertise is often called upon by those in the rapid prototyping, reverse engineering and manufacturing sectors, so we have built up trusted relationships with our contractors. We know how to provide the right data in the correct format for machining or prototyping and our contractors know and trust our data.

Regardless of the scale, detail and medium of the replica you wish to produce, we can provide you with a full, itemised quote for the different stages of production, and manage the entire manufacturing process for you – you just provide us with the original and we'll take it from there.

In 2010 2h3D Ltd was proud to work alongside Asylum Models & Effects to create a transparent car for a Shell Helix motor oil commercial.
